Israeli President Isaac Herzog stated that Hamas launched its attacks against Israel from the Gaza Strip under orders and with support received from Iran.
According to a written statement from the Israeli Presidency, Herzog expressed that Hamas launched an "unprovoked, bloody attack" against Israel by receiving orders and support from its commanders in Iran.
Noting that they will take all measures to eliminate the threat to Israeli citizens, Herzog stated that Israel will overcome these challenges.
Herzog called on the international community to "unconditionally condemn Hamas and its ally and supporter, Iran."
THEY CAUGHT THE ZIONISTS OFF GUARD
Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Nasser Kanaani congratulated the Palestinians and Hamas for the Al-Aqsa Flood Operation launched by Hamas against Israel, saying, "The Al-Aqsa Flood Operation has once again shown that the Israelis are beatable. In recent years, we have seen that Israel, which tries to target Gaza, is caught off guard every time and is forced to retreat. Their resilience has diminished with every military operation. This operation by Hamas has shown that Palestinian resistance groups are confident in themselves and are capable of carrying out multi-faceted special operations against the occupying regime. This operation has also caught the Zionists off guard."
"DEATH TO ISRAEL" SLOGANS IN THE IRANIAN PARLIAMENT
Following Hamas's "Al-Aqsa Flood Operation," members of the Iranian parliament chanted "Greetings to Palestine" and "Death to Israel" in support of Hamas. The deputies, who began chanting during the open session of parliament, gathered in front of the parliamentary podium to send a message of support to Palestine.
IRAN SAYS 'WE ARE WITH YOU'
Yahya Rahim Safavi, a senior military advisor to Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, had previously stated regarding Hamas's Al-Aqsa Flood Operation: "We support this operation and we are confident that the resistance front also supports this operation. We will stand by the Palestinian mujahideen until Palestine and Jerusalem are liberated."
