Israeli espionage activities uncovered by MIT
The National Intelligence Organization (MIT), as part of its efforts to detect and expose international espionage activities, has obtained information that the Israeli Intelligence Service aimed to carry out tactics such as reconnaissance, surveillance, assault, and kidnapping against foreign nationals residing in the country for humanitarian reasons.

The National Intelligence Organization (MIT), as part of its efforts to detect and expose international espionage activities, has obtained information that the Israeli Intelligence Service aimed to carry out tactics such as reconnaissance, surveillance, assault, and kidnapping against foreign nationals residing in the country for humanitarian reasons.
Following this information, an operation was conducted at 57 addresses across 8 provinces, centered in Istanbul, targeting a total of 46 individuals suspected of being involved in international espionage activities. 33 people were apprehended in the operation carried out on January 2, 2024.
