Istanbul Bar Association Hosts Panel on the 103rd Anniversary of the Treaty of Kars
A panel will be held at the Istanbul Bar Association on the 103rd anniversary of the Treaty of Kars. Our contributors, Prof. Dr. Barış Doster and Attorney Hüseyin Özbek, will participate as speakers at the panel, which will take place on Friday, October 11, at 17:00 at the Istanbul Bar Association Conference Hall.

The Treaty of Kars, signed on October 13, 1921, between Turkey and Georgia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan, holds great significance as it established our country's eastern borders, abolished the capitulations granted to Tsarist Russia, and declared the Treaty of Sèvres null and void.
The Istanbul Bar Association's Center for Republican Research (CUMER) is organizing a "Panel on the 103rd Anniversary of the Treaty of Kars" to mark the anniversary of this important agreement.
The opening speech of the panel will be delivered by Istanbul Bar Association President Attorney Filiz Saraç, and the presentation will be conducted by Istanbul Bar Association CUMER Spokesperson Attorney Gülseren Aytaş. The panel, moderated by former Union of Turkish Bar Associations (TBB) Vice President and former Istanbul Bar Association Secretary-General Attorney Hüseyin Özbek, will feature speakers Prof. Dr. Barış Doster, a faculty member at Marmara University's Faculty of Communication, and Prof. Dr. Süleyman Beyoğlu, a faculty member in the Department of History of the Republic of Turkey at Marmara University's Faculty of Science and Letters.
The panel will begin on Friday, October 11, at 17:00 at the Istanbul Bar Association Conference Hall (located in the Bar's central building in Beyoğlu).
