In an operation conducted against the terrorist organization ISIS in 16 provinces centered in Istanbul, 43 suspects identified as transferring money to the organization were captured.
An investigation by the Financial Crimes Investigation Board (MASAK) revealed that crypto wallet addresses assessed to be linked to ISIS were used for fundraising activities via Telegram channels connected to the organization, and that the funds obtained were transferred to cold wallets to make them difficult to track.
