Istanbul dam occupancy rates figures for February 1, 2024

The occupancy rates of Istanbul's dams were announced on February 1. With the recent rainfall, the dam occupancy rates, which had raised concerns due to insufficient precipitation last winter, have shown an increase according to the updated data. While the Pabuçdere Dam has the lowest water level with an occupancy rate of 36.66 percent, the Elmalı Dam reached the highest water level at 89.21 percent. The total occupancy rate of the 10 dams in Istanbul was determined to be 71.38 percent on Thursday, February 1, 2024.
