Following the lack of precipitation last winter, dam occupancy rates remain a subject closely followed by Istanbul residents. While the water level at the Pabuçdere Dam, which has the lowest water level, was measured at 48.9%, the highest water level was recorded at the Elmalı Dam at 92.21%. The total dam occupancy rate in the megacity was determined to be 73.08% as of Thursday, February 15, 2024.
