Istanbul Governor Davut Gül visited the family of Atlas Çağlayan, who lost his life in the hospital after being attacked with a knife by gang members in Güngören.

Istanbul Governor Davut Gül visited the family of Atlas Çağlayan, who lost his life as a result of a knife attack he suffered in Güngören the previous day.
Governor Davut Gül conveyed his condolences to the grieving family. During the visit, Governor Gül was accompanied by Provincial Police Chief Selami Yıldız, Güngören District Governor Abdullah Küçük, and Güngören Mayor Bünyamin Demir.
In a post on his social media account regarding the visit, Governor Gül stated, "I pray for God's mercy upon our child and offer my condolences to our grieving family. The fact that the perpetrator of this tragic incident has been caught and arrested is important for the manifestation of justice; we have full faith that he will receive the punishment he deserves before the law. May the Almighty grant patience and fortitude to his family."
