The Ro-Ro ship 'İstanbul N', which was drifting in the open waters of the Sea of Marmara due to an electrical failure while traveling from Çelebi Port in Bandırma, Balıkesir, to Ambarlı Port in Istanbul, will be towed to shore by a tugboat after 21 hours.

The malfunction occurred around 02:30 at night. The ship, which drifted as far as the open waters off Tekirdağ for over 21 hours due to the effect of the wind, is being towed to Istanbul's Ambarlı Port by a tugboat after 21 hours.
According to information received from passengers on board, an electrical failure occurred after the ship passed the Kapıdağ Peninsula. Although the ship's crew made the initial intervention and identified the cause of the failure, it could not yet be resolved.
After long efforts proved unsuccessful, the Ro-Ro ship 'İstanbul N' will be towed to shore by a tugboat after 21 hours.
Meanwhile, the drivers on board the ship reacted by going to their vehicles and honking their horns.
