IMM has launched the era of payment with Istanbulkart on minibuses.

The application was first implemented in the Arnavutköy district, which was selected as the pilot region.

The application, which started with 9 vehicles that transitioned from minibus to bus status in the first phase, will soon spread across all of Istanbul. Thanks to the project, Istanbul's public transportation will become fully integrated through fare integration. Thus, minibus passengers will also be able to benefit from transfer, free, and discount advantages.

Speaking at the "Fare Integration Project" introductory meeting held at the IMM Arnavutköy Culture Center, IMM Deputy Secretary General Gürkan Akgün stated that transportation is Istanbul's most important issue and said the following:

"MAY IT BE BENEFICIAL FOR ALL OF ISTANBUL"

"With this project, which provides fare integration on minibuses, we are initiating an important transformation for Istanbul's transportation. We will establish the infrastructure system we have built throughout Istanbul. As IMM, we are working both to provide comfortable, integrated transportation services to the people of Istanbul and to solve the problems of transportation tradesmen. Now, minibuses will also be fully integrated with rail systems, sea routes, and buses. Thus, the discounted and transfer ticket advantages valid in public transportation will also be valid on minibuses. Transfer, free, and discounted payments will be subsidized by the IMM. May it be beneficial for all of Istanbul, especially Arnavutköy."
