In the incident that occurred last Friday in Konya, 5 people were trapped under the rubble and 2 people lost their lives when a 4-story building collapsed. 6 suspects detained in the investigation into the collapsed building have been referred to the courthouse.

The 4-story Taşoluk Apartment building collapsed on Friday evening on Beyşehir Street in the Selçuk neighborhood of Konya's central Selçuklu district.
CAUSED THE DEATH OF 2 PEOPLE
While 3 of the 5 people trapped in the rubble were rescued by teams, 2 people lost their lives. 6 people were detained in the investigation launched regarding the collapse of the building.
It was alleged that a coffeehouse operator had previously opened a door in the wall under the building, and that the business later operating as a fishmonger also carried out renovations and opened a door.
SUSPECTS REFERRED TO THE COURTHOUSE
The detainees, architect Tuncer D., renovator Volkan D., fishmonger Kazım F., former coffeehouse operator Kemal Ö., property owner Hakkın İ., and property owner Mehmet P., whose procedures at the police station were completed, were taken from the Konya Public Security Branch Directorate and underwent health checks at Numune Hospital.
The individuals were subsequently referred to the Konya Courthouse.
