Following the detention of 106 individuals, including Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, claims that a trustee would be appointed to the CHP have been circulating on social media and various news sites. CHP Chairman Özgür Özel has also decided to convene the CHP Congress.
The name of CHP Istanbul Deputy İlhan Kesici is also being mentioned among these claims that he was appointed as a trustee to the CHP.
