Following the departure of Veysi Dündar, another separation has occurred at Flash TV, which was recently acquired by a pro-government media group and saw Ersoy Dede appointed as Editor-in-Chief.

The post shared by Veysi Dündar yesterday was as follows:

This time, news of a departure also came from Çağdaş Bayraktar. Bayraktar announced that his program titled "Adını Koyalım" (Let's Name It) has been canceled. In a statement he made via social media, he used the following expressions:

"It is time to say goodbye at Flash Haber TV...

The channel's new management informed me that the program "Adını Koyalım with Çağdaş Bayraktar" will not continue.

In 25 episodes, we tried to bring to the screen the country's agenda—the agenda that needs to be discussed—without compromising on the gains of the Republic, especially secularism.

We tried to open our screen as much as we could to those whose voices should be heard the most but are heard the least. In the section we called Intellectual Conversations, we discussed history, philosophy, sociology, health, and psychology. We hosted more than 60 valuable guests.

I say 'we' because this was a team effort.

I would like to thank everyone, from Mr. Asutay Güleç and Ms. Özge Güleç, who personally called and invited me to the channel, to my mentors Mustafa Aktaş, Cüneyt Akman, and Fatih Ertürk who guided me at the channel, and everyone from the hardworking staff who never spared us their tea and coffee to the technical team.

It was a unique and, to its core, an original and free experience within the given possibilities. It was a privilege to be a part of this channel and this family, which acted with a sense of responsibility regarding the earthquake zone and invited me to more than 40 broadcasts on this scope alone. I will never forget this period in my life.

Being on the road is much more valuable than arriving.

Defending the gains of the Republic is most important in times like these.

Our path at Flash Haber TV has come to an end. Hoping to meet you on the screens again as soon as possible and to be able to say "Let's Name It."

Happy January 10 Working Journalists Day"
