İYİ Party Spokesperson Buğra Kavuncu stated that a 10 percent raise should be applied to the salaries of low-income earners and civil servants, effective from April. Kavuncu criticized the government, saying, "These assumptions never hold true."

The İYİ Party Presidential Council met at the party headquarters under the chairmanship of Chairman Müsavat Dervişoğlu. Following the meeting, İYİ Party Deputy Chairman and Party Spokesperson Buğra Kavuncu made critical statements regarding the agenda and attacked the government over eroding salaries.

"A 10 percent raise must be implemented"

Sharing his party's demand regarding civil servant and retiree salaries, Kavuncu drew attention to the economic impasse faced by low-income earners. Kavuncu said, "A 10 percent raise must be implemented for low-income earners and civil servants, effective from April. Low-income earners, whose purchasing power has seriously eroded and who remain below the hunger threshold, have no way left to survive."

"The raises you provide are being decimated"

Criticizing the government's economic policies and inflation forecasts, the İYİ Party Spokesperson emphasized that salaries are eroding in a short period of time.

Calling on the government with harsh words, Kavuncu used the following expressions:

"You make raises based on an assumption, and these assumptions never hold true. The raises you make accordingly are decimated after a certain period, devastating the purchasing power of low-income earners. See this and implement a 10 percent raise on salaries, effective from April."
