İYİ Party Chairman Dervişoğlu has made his decision: We will not participate

In a letter signed by Parliament Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş and sent to the group chairmanships of the AK Party, CHP, DEM Party, MHP, İYİ Party, and Yeni Yol Party, which have groups in Parliament, as well as to HÜDA PAR, the New Welfare Party (Yeniden Refah Partisi), the Workers' Party of Turkey (TİP), EMEP, DSP, and DP, it was stated that a commission would be established within the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) in line with the goal of a "Terror-Free Turkey."

The letter sent by Parliament Speaker Kurtulmuş to the political parties represented in Parliament requested that the names of the deputies who will take part in the commission be notified to the Speaker's Office by Thursday, July 31. İYİ Party Chairman Müsavat Dervişoğlu stated that they would not participate in the commission.

The letter requested that the names of 21 deputies from the AK Party, 10 from the CHP, 4 each from the DEM Party and MHP, 3 each from the İYİ Party and Yeni Yol Party, and 1 each from HÜDA PAR, the New Welfare Party, TİP, EMEP, DSP, and DP be notified to the Speaker's Office by 17:00 on Thursday, July 31.

In his message, Dervişoğlu said, "Ultimately, I would like to bring to the attention of the public once again that, as the İYİ Party, we will not take part in this commission that is planned to be established."
