İYİ Party Secretary General Attorney Uğur Poyraz announced that İş Bank, where he is a customer, withdrew his money without his consent and used it to pay the follow-up debt of a company with which he has no connection.

Poyraz stated that his money was deposited back two days later and that he was still not informed in any way. Reacting to the bank's management, the İYİ Party deputy said he would exercise his right to judicial and administrative recourse to the fullest extent.

In a post he made on August 31, tagging İş Bank, Poyraz said: "Imagine a bank that, on August 30, a public holiday, withdraws the money in my account to pay the follow-up debt of a company I have no connection with. The name of this arbitrariness and negligence is İş Bank and the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BDDK)." he stated.

"I WILL EXERCISE MY RIGHTS"

Two days after the post in question, Poyraz reported in a post today that the withdrawn money had been returned, but he was still not notified. Emphasizing that he would seek his legal rights, the İYİ Party deputy said the following:

"The money that was withdrawn unlawfully and arbitrarily from my account on Monday at 12:15 PM, without my knowledge or consent, has been returned.

İş Bankası, which did not inform me while my accounts were being emptied, did not even ask for an application from me when the money was returned. I will exercise my right to file judicial and administrative complaints to the fullest extent regarding the bank management and their management approach, which treats my accounts as they please.

While celebrating its 100th anniversary on August 26, this bank's board of directors and general management, which suspended service to its citizens and does not care about personal data or victimized citizens, will be held accountable for this insolent arbitrariness with my endless patience and determination."
