İYİ Party Spokesperson Zorlu: 'We will determine our roadmap by reading the results in the most accurate way'

The first statement from the İYİ Party following the election was made by party spokesperson Kürşad Zorlu.

In a statement on his social media account, Zorlu noted that the nation had expressed its opinion and message at the ballot box in the election that took place, stating, “Most importantly, our country and Turkish democracy have once again passed a serious test.

On this occasion, we express our gratitude especially to our officials at the ballot boxes and to all our citizens who supported us.”

In the continuation of his statement, Zorlu included the following remarks: “As the İYİ Party, we also congratulate the elected mayors and wish them success in providing services to our nation at the local level. We certainly respect the decision our people have made at the ballot box. 

We will determine our roadmap by reading these results in the most accurate way. 

Let no one have any doubt that this roadmap will be focused on protecting Turkey’s national interests and the rights of every Turkish citizen to the end, just as it was yesterday.

In this context, once the results for the mayoralties, municipal councils, and provincial general assemblies are finalized, we will conduct all necessary consultations and evaluations and share them with our nation.”
