İYİ Party Group Deputy Chairman Turhan Çömez issued a warning to Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan on his social media account, citing statements made by US President Donald Trump.

Promising to end wars but failing to reach a solution regarding the Russia-Ukraine war, Trump continues to try different methods to corner Russia and bring them to the peace table. 

Seeking to weaken Russia economically and ensure the signing of a peace agreement with Ukraine, Trump does not refrain from harshly expressing his reaction to countries that continue their commercial activities with Russia during this process.

In his latest statement, Trump used the expression, 'Some NATO member countries have also not cut off their purchases of energy products from Russia,' and criticized Turkey without naming it.

Çömez warned, 'I hope you have made preparations' for Trump's potential new demands.

Trump says;

“China and India are funding Russia in the Ukraine war by continuing to buy oil from Russia.

However, inexcusably, some NATO member countries have also not cut off their purchases of energy products from Russia.

I noticed this two weeks ago and I am not happy at all.”
