Jaw-dropping price: Bosphorus mansions of FETÖ fugitive Akın İpek put up for sale
Two luxury mansions in Bebek belonging to Akın İpek, which were seized following the July 15 coup attempt, are back on the market with a price tag of 950 million TL. The auction will be held on May 6.

Koza-Altın İşletmeleri, under the Turkey Wealth Fund (TVF), has put the two mansions in Bebek belonging to Akın İpek, a FETÖ fugitive and one of the financial masterminds behind the FETÖ July 15 coup attempt, back up for sale. While the mansions failed to find a buyer for 750 million TL last year, their starting price for this year has been set at 950 million TL, and it has been announced that the public auction will take place on May 6, 2025.
TMSF ANNOUNCED, MANSIONS PUT UP FOR SALE
The two luxury mansions belonging to Akın İpek, which were transferred to the Savings Deposit Insurance Fund (TMSF) after the July 15 coup attempt and passed to the Turkey Wealth Fund in August 2024, have been added to the sales list again. In a notification made to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) by Koza-Altın İşletmeleri, it was officially announced that the sales process for the White Mansion and the Brown Mansion located in Bebek has been initiated.
ON A 2,700 SQUARE METER PLOT
The White Mansion, which has been put up for sale, is a second-degree historical monument and is situated on a 2,700 square meter plot. The mansion, which has a gross usage area of 695 square meters and a 208 square meter terrace, is among the notable structures in the luxury real estate market. The 391 square meter Brown Mansion on the neighboring plot will also be offered for sale as part of the same tender.
PRICE TAG: 950 MILLION TL
According to the KAP statement, bids will be accepted starting from a base price of 950 million TL (excluding VAT) at the public auction to be held at the Koza-Altın İşletmeleri headquarters in Ankara on May 6, 2025. The conditions for participation in the sales process, where bids compliant with the tender specifications will be evaluated, will be clarified in the coming days.
