Jet carrying Libyan military delegation crashes in Ankara

Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya made the following statement regarding the jet:
This evening at 20:10, from Ankara Esenboğa Airport to Tripoli to depart that took off, with tail number9H-DFJ, a Falcon 50 business jet, lost contact as of 20:52.
An emergency landing notification was received from the aircraft in question near Haymana;however, contact with theaircraft could not bere-established.
The aircraft, which included Libyan Chief of General Staff General Mohamed Ali Ahmed Al-Haddad,There are fivepassengers on board.
The public will be informed of further developments.

Yerlikaya madethestateme nt.: "The wreckage of the plane that took off from Ankara Esenboğa Airport bound for Tripoli was located by our gendarmerie 2 km south of Kesikkavak village in the Haymana district. The public will be informed of further developments."

Onboard the aircraft were Chief of General Staff Al-Haddad, along with Land Forces Commander Lieutenant General Al-Fayturi Gharib, Libyan Military Industry President Brigadier General Mahmoud Al-Qatiwi, Chief of General Staff Advisor Mohamed Al-Asawi Diab, and the Chief of General Staff's photographeras well as other personnel.TheMohamed Omar Ahmed Mahjoub was on board.
