Joint Step in Health from Organization of Turkic States: "Turktransplant" Protocol Signed
At the 4th Meeting of Health Ministers of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) held in Shusha, Azerbaijan, the health ministers of the member countries signed a protocol of intent for the establishment of the "Turktransplant" system, which will facilitate the sharing of knowledge and experience in organ and tissue transplantation.

The 4th Meeting of Health Ministers of the OTS was held in the city of Shusha, Azerbaijan.
The meeting, hosted by Azerbaijan's Minister of Health Teymur Musayev, was attended by OTS Secretary General Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev, Turkey's Minister of Health Kemal Memişoğlu, Kyrgyzstan's Minister of Health Alymkadyr Beishenaliev, Uzbekistan's Deputy Minister of Health Davron Sultanov, and Kazakhstan's Deputy Minister of Health Yerbol Ospanov.
PROTOCOL OF INTENT SIGNED
In his speech at the meeting, Musayev stated that they view the creation of a unified medical scientific space, the conduct of joint scientific research, and the determination of common medical education standards among OTS member and observer countries as the main directions of their joint activities.
Following the meeting, the ministers signed the protocol of intent regarding the establishment of the "Turktransplant" system, which will allow for the sharing of knowledge and experience in organ and tissue transplantation within the scope of the OTS.
Additionally, memoranda of understanding were signed between the scientific research institutes of the health ministries of OTS member and observer countries in the fields of oncology, cardiology, ophthalmology, pediatrics, traumatology, and orthopedics.
