Jordan: We will not be a theater for a regional war

King Abdullah held a phone call with US President Joe Biden following Iran's attacks on Israel.

During the call, where regional developments were discussed, efforts to de-escalate tensions and achieve a ceasefire in Gaza were addressed. The leaders emphasized the importance of coordination in the face of regional developments.

Warning against any escalation by Israel that would expand the axis of conflict in the region, King Abdullah stated that his country would not be a theater for a regional war.

King Abdullah expressed that the way to stop the escalation and protect the region from its negative impacts lies in ending the attacks on Gaza.

Calling for the protection of civilians in Gaza, Abdullah stated that the entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza must be ensured at a sufficient level and on a continuous basis.
