Journalist Fatih Ergin detained
Journalist Fatih Ergin announced that he had been detained in a post on his personal account during the night. The reason for Ergin's detention is not yet known.

While there has been no official statement regarding the reason for Fatih Ergin's detention, it has been claimed on social media that Ergin was involved in an incident today in Yalova with police and IIt is considered that it may be due to his posts regarding theclash that lasted for hours amongISIS terrorists,in which 3 police officers were martyred. Accessblocks had previously been imposed on some of the reports Ergin had published on this subject.
Ergin's detention follows these earlier restrictions.
