Serbestiyet columnist and journalist Hilal Köylü shared new information on the subject during a live broadcast on Sözcü TV. Stating that 'the call text is ready and DEM Party members have read it,' Köylü used the following expressions:

“The call is ready now. DEM Party members have read it and say, 'We are very pleased. What comes next is convincing the public.' The eyes of the world are here. There is incredible interest from journalists. In this call, Öcalan says in summary, ‘There is no longer any field of activity left for the PKK; it is not possible for the PKK to continue its existence as an armed organization. We are moving to a new phase.’ For this reason, DEM Party members define this as a turning point in history.”
