Journalist Metin Cihan shares documents: The EU is funding TRT and foundations close to the government! 'Local' and 'national' associations caught...

It has been revealed that the European Union is funding associations and foundations in Turkey that are close to the AKP government. Journalist Metin Cihan shared documents showing that one of these associations is TÜGVA. Furthermore, it was documented that the EU also granted 400,000 Euros to TRT.

Journalist Metin Cihan, who exposed the trade between the AKP government and Israel with documents before the March 31 Local Elections, Metin Cihan, made a striking post on his social media account.

Cihan, European Unionshared the names of the foundations and associations funded in Turkey with documents.

GRANTS FROM THE EU TO ASSOCIATIONS CLOSE TO THE AKP AND TO TRT!

According to the documents shared by Cihan, the EU is funding foundations and associations in Turkey that are close to the government...

The list in question includes TÜGVA, TÜRGEV, the SETA Foundation, and IHH, as well as the World Ethnosport Confederation, chaired by Bilal Erdoğan.

It was noted that among the institutions receiving funding from the EU is the state broadcaster TRT, which has become the mouthpiece of the AKP government.

Cihan's post is as follows;

"Who is the European Union funding in Turkey? I am researching this and I see hypocrisy again. Among those I have been able to identify so far are TRT, TÜGVA, TÜRGEV, the SETA Foundation, IHH, the ÖNDER Imam Hatip Alumni Association, and the World Ethnosport Confederation (Bilal Erdoğan)."

 

86 THOUSAND EURO GRANT TO TÜGVA, 51 THOUSAND TO TÜRGEV

The European Union selected TÜGVA, known for its closeness to the government, as a partner in Turkey for the Erasmus+ program. It was observed that a grant of 86,062 Euros was provided to TÜGVA within the scope of the program.

Cihan included the following statements in his post;

"Let me give an example. Who is the EU Erasmus+ fund funding, for instance, with the project coded KA227-YOU-098395? We look and see that it is the Turkey Youth Federation. This might not sound familiar. It is the TÜGVA we know. 

I would like to remind you that this is just a small example. Millions of Euros in funding flow every year. I will share them with documents. As you will read in the project description, the EU defines this as cooperation with NGOs and sets a goal of creating an international sphere of influence. 

The partner they chose in Turkey is TÜGVA.

The EU also granted 51,880 Euros to TÜRGEV, again within the scope of the Erasmus+ program.

 

 

A FULL 400 THOUSAND EUROS TO TRT!

Cihan's post also included documents showing that the EU is funding TRT. It was revealed that a full 400,000 Euro grant was given to TRT, again within the same Erasmus+ program.
