Oğuz Murat Aci lost his life in the ATV accident that shook Turkey's agenda, which involved the 17-year-old son of fugitive author Eylem Tok, identified as T.C.

Demirören News Agency (DHA) General Manager Celal Korkut made a statement regarding the matter, saying, "First of all, I would like to state that I am very surprised by the statements made by our reporter Rojda Altıntaş. She has not been answering her phone since yesterday. Altıntaş is still a DHA employee, and no action has been taken against her, nor will any be taken."

In the continuation of his statement, Korkut included the following remarks:

"I would have expected my colleague Rojda Altıntaş to openly share with me exactly what she experienced during the phone calls she recorded, and any pressure she may have faced. I would have told her that there is no situation for her to be upset about or to feel pressured by, and on the contrary, that we would continue to follow and publish the news in all its aspects. As a senior colleague, since I cannot reach her, I am addressing her from here. I expect her to return to work as soon as possible and continue her duties from where she left off. This is announced to Rojda Altıntaş and the public."

"RESPONSE FROM ALTINTAŞ: I WILL NOT RETURN TO WORK"

Quoting the DHA post containing Korkut's statements, Altıntaş said the following:

"You were aware of everything. You are wondering if there are other audio recordings or footage. For this reason, despite everything, you have been forced to call me back to work from the official DHA account; how sad. However, I will not return to work."
