Judge and prosecutor appointments made: Özlem Zengin's nephew is among those appointed!

With the appointment decree published by the Council of Judges and Prosecutors (HSK), 1,075 judges and prosecutors have been assigned to their new posts, and AKP Group Deputy Chair Özlem Zengin's nephew, Mehmet Arif Dağhan, has been appointed as a judge in Konya.

ZENGİN'S NEPHEW APPOINTED TO KONYA 

The decree regarding the appointments of 679 judge and 396 public prosecutor candidates, determined by the Council of Judges and Prosecutors (HSK) through a drawing of lots, has been published in the Official Gazette. 

With the appointments made in accordance with Article 13 of the Law on Judges and Prosecutors No. 2802, a total of 1,075 people have begun their new duties.

While 512 judges and 332 public prosecutors from the 27th judicial term, 77 judges and 64 prosecutors from the 13th judicial term who transitioned from legal practice, and 90 judges from the 17th administrative judicial term were appointed, AKP Group Deputy Chair Özlem Zengin's nephew, Mehmet Arif Dağhan, was assigned as a judge in Konya. Dağhan had previously made headlines for being introduced to President Erdoğan.
