Under the HSK's 2026 Main Decree for Judicial and Administrative Judiciary, the duty stations of a total of 4,967 judges and prosecutors—4,608 from the judicial judiciary and 359 from the administrative judiciary—were changed; while the chief public prosecutors of 33 provinces were replaced, 11 prosecutors and deputy chief public prosecutors serving in Istanbul were appointed to the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.

The decree also changed 5 regional appellate court chief public prosecutors and 74 district and regional chief public prosecutors. The decree introduces new regulations to the judicial organization.

Sharing a notable detail regarding the decisions made, journalist Muratcan Altuntoprak provided the following information on his social media account:

"Another judge who gave an 'acquittal' decision for IMM President Ekrem İmamoğlu has been removed from his post by an appointment decree.

The judge who gave the 'acquittal' decision in the case filed against İmamoğlu for allegedly insulting the former AKP Mayor of Tuzla, Şadi Yazıcı, and whose decision was later overturned by the appellate court, was sent from the Istanbul Anatolian Judgeship to the Edirne Judgeship.

With the appellate court overturning the 'acquittal' decision and ordering a retrial for İmamoğlu, the presiding judge had accepted Ekrem İmamoğlu's request to attend the hearing 'in person'.

Ekrem İmamoğlu had set off from Silivri, but after traveling 60 kilometers, he was sent back to Silivri after being told that the 'vehicle had broken down'."
