Justice Minister announces: Individual who attacked child on subway arrested
The individual who physically attacked a foreign national child on the subway in Istanbul has been arrested as part of an investigation.

The incident involving a physical attack on a foreign national child selling items on the subway in Istanbul has been taken up by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.
The suspect identified as being involved in the attack was arrested by the Criminal Court of Peace on charges of "simple assault against a person who is unable to defend themselves physically or mentally, and publicly inciting the public to hatred and hostility."

Justice Minister Yılmaz Tunç, in his statement regarding the incident, emphasized that violence against innocent children, whose best interests we must protect, is unacceptable regardless of the reason, and that they do not accept it. Minister Tunç stated that necessary steps will be taken to ensure justice and prevent similar incidents.
