Statement from Justice Minister Tunç regarding Eylem Tok and her son

Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç has made statements regarding the 17-year-old driver who struck a group checking their broken-down ATV on the shoulder in Eyüpsultan with a luxury SUV, causing one death, and his mother, Eylem Tok. Minister Tunç announced that they have contacted Egyptian authorities and requested the extradition of the suspects.

While the police were pursuing the fleeing driver, it was determined that the person driving the vehicle involved in the accident was T.C., the son of the famous author Eylem Tok. It was discovered that Eylem Tok had picked up her son in her own vehicle and fled.

The luxury SUV involved in the accident was left at the scene.

As a result of the police investigation, it was determined that the mother, Eylem Tok, had taken her son T.C., who did not have a driver's license as he was underage, and gone to the airport at 02:00, from where they fled to Egypt.
