Kaşif Kozinoğlu investigation: The question Raci Şaşmaz refused to answer draws attention

The screenwriters of the TV series Kurtlar Vadisi, Raci Şaşmaz, Bahadır Özdener, and Cüneyt Aysan, have testified to the prosecutor's office as part of the reopened investigation into the suspicious death of former MIT official Kaşif Kozinoğlu, who passed away in Silivri Prison in 2011.

The screenwriters left the courthouse after the testimony process, which lasted approximately 2.5 hours.

SCENES FROM THE SERIES ARE IN THE INVESTIGATION FILE

The investigation into Kozinoğlu's death is examining potential links between certain scenes in the series Kurtlar Vadisi and Kurtlar Vadisi Pusu (Valley of the Wolves: Ambush) and real-life events.

The file particularly highlights scenes from the 136th episode of the series, which aired on November 10, 2011. In this episode, a character named "Kazım Kaşifoğlu" is seen being held in a cell, beaten, and threatened. Two days after the scenes where the character is later handed over to Yaşar Ağa were aired, Kaşif Kozinoğlu passed away in Silivri Prison on November 12, 2011.

THE SCENE OF AIR INJECTED WITH A SYRINGE

Another episode examined as part of the investigation was the 139th episode, which aired on December 8, 2011.

In this episode, the character Kaşifoğlu is shown taking a shower after exercising, and is subsequently killed by the character "Kara," who injects air into his arm with a syringe. This episode, which aired shortly after Kozinoğlu's death, led to an investigation into whether there was any connection between the script and the actual death.

TOMBSTONE WITH "ERDOĞAN" WRITTEN ON IT IS ALSO BEING EXAMINED

It was stated that some visuals from later episodes of the series have also been included in the investigation file.

The appearance of a tombstone with the name "ERDOĞAN" in a cemetery scene in the 159th episode, which aired on May 17, 2012, is among the details being examined.

Additionally, the vehicle with the license plate "34 FG 7061" seen in the 79th episode of Kurtlar Vadisi Pusu, which aired on February 4, 2010, has become one of the elements drawing attention within the scope of the investigation. Assessments suggesting that the letters "FG" on the plate alluded to the late leader of FETÖ, Fetullah Gülen, had previously surfaced on social media.

RACİ ŞAŞMAZ LEFT QUESTIONS UNANSWERED

Raci Şaşmaz, one of the screenwriters who left the courthouse after the testimony process, did not respond to questions from members of the press.

Şaşmaz left the courthouse without answering a journalist's question: "Is the character Kazım Kaşifoğlu just a coincidence in name?"

It was reported that the prosecutor's office will continue its examination of the investigation file following the testimonies taken.
