The date and format of the holiday greeting program with party members for Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who was brought to the position of CHP Chairman following the court's "absolute nullity" ruling, have been changed from the previously announced date of May 28.
Kılıçdaroğlu's press advisor Atakan Sönmez provided an update regarding the greeting program, which was initially planned to be held at the CHP Headquarters on May 28, the second day of Eid al-Adha. Sönmez explained the reason for the change as the density in the schedules of other political parties.
Greeting combined with "Public Meeting"
According to the new plan, Kılıçdaroğlu has postponed the program where he will meet with party members and citizens by two days. In his statement regarding the matter, press advisor Atakan Sönmez used the following expressions:
"Due to the holiday greeting density of political parties, CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu will conduct the greeting, which was to take place on May 28, on May 30 at 12:00 PM, together with a public meeting that will be open to everyone."
With this decision, the event, which was previously intended only as an intra-party greeting, has been transformed into a comprehensive public meeting open to the participation of all citizens on May 30 at 12:00 PM.
