Health Minister Kemal Memişoğlu arrived in Muğla for official engagements. As part of his program, Memişoğlu first visited the Governor's office, where he signed the Governor's Guestbook and met with Governor İdris Akbıyık to receive various briefings. On the same day, Memişoğlu also visited the AKP Provincial Headquarters and held consultations with local authorities.

Later in the day, the Health Minister attended an iftar dinner held on the Night of Power (Kadir Gecesi), and his use of a helicopter for transportation to this event drew attention.

Footage of the Minister's arrival by helicopter spread quickly on social media platforms and sparked a series of debates. Many users criticized the use of public resources in this manner for an iftar program, and the incident resonated widely among social media users.

 

Speaking at the iftar program, Minister Memişoğlu stated, "I hope that all your prayers are accepted, and that we experience a period of time where humanity is more peaceful, shows more respect for one another, and where societies and nations also show respect for each other. At the same time, I wish you a happy holiday in advance and offer my respects to you all."

While the Minister's contacts in Muğla have become a subject of public debate, no official statement has yet been made regarding the justification for his helicopter journey.
