The Kemalist Enlightenment Association, which was established a short time ago, met on November 10.
Association President Kemal Anadol said, “Hundreds of thousands, with their children, youth, and elderly, are running to Anıtkabir. It must be well understood. The owner of Atatürk is now the people; Atatürk has returned to the bosom of the nation. Citizens who accept Atatürk’s ideal of ‘reaching the level of contemporary civilization’ as a testament are commemorating him this November 10 with both their emotions and their minds. As he said, ‘Those who set out with the determination not to rest will never, ever get tired.’”
Stating that our country is being dragged into darkness by Atatürk and Republic enemies fed from the outside, Anadol said, “Kemalists are in the mortar of this country. The Republic of Turkey will emerge from this chaos it has entered by returning to its founding and liberation philosophy.”
"THE KEMALIST MOVEMENT IS A NECESSITY FOR TURKEY"
The Kemalist Enlightenment Association, which includes names such as Kemal Anadol, Nur Serter, Bülent Baratalı, Dilek Akagün, Attorney Mustafa Çetin, Buket Müftüoğlu, Ayhan Tiryaki, and Ali Kaya, met in Istanbul on November 10.
It was emphasized that the Kemalist movement is a necessity for Turkey and that they will act with the spirit of the Kuva-yı Milliye.
Kemalist Enlightenment Association President Kemal Anadol, in his speech commemorating our great leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, stated, “Atatürk is not just a great commander who won a victory against imperialism. He is an unparalleled statesman who directed the Turkish society toward modernity, reason, and science, and carried out the revolutions made for this purpose. The attacks on Atatürk, who saved the people of Anatolia and Thrace from the servitude of the sultan and transformed them into honorable citizens of the Republic of Turkey, are therefore not a coincidence. It is natural for a founder of a modern and secular Republic to be targeted. A leader who suppressed rebellions consisting of feudal lords and tribal chiefs who were uncomfortable with emerging from the darkness of the Middle Ages will, of course, be their enemy.”
“ATATÜRK HAS RETURNED TO THE BOSOM OF THE NATION”
Anadol continued his speech as follows:
“The scene today in the Middle East of groups slaughtering each other, each defining themselves as a representative of political Islam, demonstrates the justification of those who called Atatürk the ‘Antichrist.’ For this reason, the founding and fundamental principles determined by Atatürk are being placed on the target board. When foreign intelligence agents disguised as scientists, and even official representatives of the EU, came to our country, they wanted the pictures of Atatürk on the walls of government offices to be taken down and Kemalist principles to be pushed aside. Governments with the Ikhwan ideology have also made significant progress on this path. We watched with dismay those who did not go to Anıtkabir on national holidays and November 10 by making a thousand and one excuses. We witnessed practices that restricted and even banned commemoration ceremonies. Thanks to them, Atatürk and Kemalism have ceased to be the state ideology today. But there was a fact that those who ensured this did not calculate. Atatürk had left state protection and settled into the hearts, minds, and consciousness of the people. Now, hundreds of thousands, with their children, youth, and elderly, are running to Anıtkabir. Let it be well known! The owner of Atatürk is now the people; Atatürk has returned to the bosom of the nation. Citizens who accept Atatürk’s ideal of ‘reaching the level of contemporary civilization’ as a testament are commemorating him this November 10 with both their emotions and their minds. Because, as he said, ‘Those who set out with the determination not to rest will never, ever get tired.’”
