A request submitted to the Presidential Communication Center (CIMER) regarding the number of employees working at TRT and Anadolu Agency yielded no results.

According to a report by İsmail Arı from BirGün, the question submitted on July 10, which included the phrase “What is the number of employees at TRT and Anadolu Agency?”, was answered one month later, on August 7.

'IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO SHARE'

In its response, Anadolu Agency stated, “Anadolu Agency T.A.Ş. is a joint-stock company registered in the trade registry and does not possess a public legal entity status. For this reason, we have no responsibility to respond to the application. Furthermore, the information and documents requested are of a private nature to the company, and it is not possible for us to share such information and documents with any person.”

TRT’s response included the following statements:

“As is known, Article 25 of the aforementioned Law (Right to Information Act) states: ‘Information or documents regarding regulations that do not concern the public and relate only to the institution's own personnel and internal practices are outside the scope of the right to information.
