NAMES CLOSE TO KILIÇDAROĞLU DID NOT ATTEND

However, the detail that stood out at the retreat was that some names close to the party's former leader, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, did not attend the meeting. This situation raised the question in political circles: "Are intra-party balances being reshaped?"

According to information obtained, Gamze Akkuş İlgezdi, Sevda Erdan Kılıç, Mahir Polat, Hasan Öztürkmen, Hüseyin Yıldız, Deniz Demir, Orhan Sarıbal, Tuncay Özkan, Hasan Ufuk Çakır, and İnan Akgün Alp did not attend the retreat. It was stated that Yıldız and Alp could not attend the meeting due to health issues.

CHP Chairman Özgür Özel addressed both judicial processes and intra-party cases in his speech at the retreat. It was stated that Özel particularly made a call for "unity and solidarity" and delivered a message to boost the morale of the organization.

Meanwhile, Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu emphasized in a letter he sent to the deputies that there should be no compromise on the party's fundamental values. In his message, İmamoğlu included the following statement: "No matter the circumstances, we will not take a step back from our values."
