In his Eid al-Fitr message, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu stated, "Of course there can be disagreements within a family, but there is no room for resentment; the family resolves its own issues. Flesh and nail, brother and brother cannot be separated. The Republic of Turkey is our home, and the 86 million members of the Turkish nation are our family. We are strong enough to solve our own problems and full of enough love to rot the seeds of discord that are being tried to be sown among us."
Former CHP leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu released an Eid al-Fitr message on his social media account. Giving a message of unity, Kılıçdaroğlu used the following expressions:
"The most meaningful and precious of holidays are undoubtedly those that people spend in their homes with their families and loved ones.
Families are the places where happiness and excitement are experienced in their most enthusiastic form, where sorrows and worries are shared in their most sincere form, and where solutions to troubles are sought in their most genuine form. Of course there can be disagreements within a family, but there is no room for resentment; the family resolves its own issues.
Flesh and nail, brother and brother cannot be separated. The Republic of Turkey is our home, and the 86 million members of the Turkish nation are our family. We are strong enough to solve our own problems and full of enough love to rot the seeds of discord that are being tried to be sown among us. We are like the five fingers of a hand; we have short ones, long ones, thick ones, and thin ones... But when we come together and unite, we become a fist.
We eliminate all kinds of dangers and protect ourselves. If we believe in ourselves and further strengthen our commitment to our brotherhood, we will become the founders and protectors of a new world order where wars end and peace prevails in our region and throughout the world, and we will become a leading country in the developing world. May God not give an opportunity to those who try to sow discord among our nation. May our unity be eternal. On this occasion, I celebrate the Eid al-Fitr of every one of our citizens and wish them many more holidays to spend in peace, happiness, and health."
