Kılıçdaroğlu files defamation lawsuit against Emrah Gülsunar

Former Republican People's Party (CHP) Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu has filed a criminal complaint with the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office against academic Dr. Emrah Gülsunar, alleging "defamation" and "slander." In the complaint filed by Kılıçdaroğlu's lawyer, Celal Çelik, it is claimed that Gülsunar committed these offenses against his client, and a request has been made for an immediate investigation and the filing of a public lawsuit.

Emrah Gülsunar announced the lawsuit filed by Kılıçdaroğlu on the social media platform X. Recalling the promise Kılıçdaroğlu made during his presidential candidacy that he would not file lawsuits against anyone, Gülsunar stated, "My democratic grandfather would not have filed lawsuits against anyone if he had been elected president."
