In a statement to journalist Fatih Atik, known for his proximity to the AKP, Kılıçdaroğlu said, "Our march to power has begun; we will cleanse ourselves, we will win." Atik claimed that Kılıçdaroğlu's team had contacted the Speaker of the Parliament and that the Speaker's office considered Özgür Özel's title of "Group Chairman" to be "invalid."

TGRT Haber Ankara Representative Fatih Atik announced in a post on his social media account that they had met with Kılıçdaroğlu. Atik also included a photo taken with Kılıçdaroğlu in his post.

Atik also conveyed in his post that Kılıçdaroğlu had made exclusive statements to the channel.

'PATHS WILL PART WITH SOME NAMES'

Atik also shared the details of the meeting; according to what was reported, Kılıçdaroğlu said that a disciplinary process would be initiated within the party and that paths would part with certain names.

Stating that the process would not begin immediately and that a commission would be formed first, Atik explained that the commission to be established would prepare a report regarding individuals, actions, and allegations, and that the disciplinary mechanism would be activated afterward.

Atik further claimed that imprisoned Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu could also be included in this process.

'OUR MARCH TO POWER HAS BEGUN'

According to Fatih Atik, Kılıçdaroğlu stated, "The Republican People's Party has the strength and historical accumulation to overcome all these difficulties. The organizations of the Republican People's Party consist of the patriotic people of this country. There is no place under this sacred roof for those who fight and favor division. Our march to power has begun. We will cleanse ourselves, we will win."
