Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who returned to the CHP chairmanship following a "null and void" ruling by the Court of Cassation and the appellate court, has opposed the pressure from the opposition within the party to hold a convention. Making highly controversial assessments to his inner circle, Kılıçdaroğlu accused the previous administration of "selling delegates for money" and "transferring hundreds of millions of liras to companies," stating, "I will not go to a convention before the party is cleansed of corruption."

Journalist Muharrem Sarıkaya, in his article published today in Yetkin Report, conveyed the striking allegations and roadmap that Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu shared with his inner circle regarding the crisis at the party headquarters, the Özgür Özel administration, and calls for an emergency convention. The emphasis on "purification" stood out in the statements that shook political circles.

"I WILL NOT LEAVE THE PARTY TO DIRTY PEOPLE WHO BUY AND SELL DELEGATES"

Kılıçdaroğlu clearly stated that he would not hold a rushed convention under current conditions, regardless of the number of signatures:

"I am not saying I will not go to a convention; I am saying that as long as there is a precautionary measure, we cannot go under these conditions. In its decision, the court specified the names of 8 people who bought and sold delegates for money. Those who received the money say 'I received it.' If we leave the party to dirty people again, if we surrender it to the dirty games of those who sell delegates for money, how will we succeed in purification? The public might react at first. But are we going to give up on purifying ourselves just because they are reacting? Should we keep unclean people in the party? I will clean them all out."

"HOW DID THEY GET RICH ALL OF A SUDDEN DURING THE PREVIOUS ADMINISTRATION?"

Making financial accusations regarding the Özgür Özel era, Kılıçdaroğlu claimed that MASAK (Financial Crimes Investigation Board) is involved:

"Look at the names who were close to the previous administration. How did they get rich all of a sudden? The prosecutor's office has now asked MASAK to investigate the assets of their relatives as well. Who bought those villas and how, I will list them all one by one. In the digital age, it won't take long; they will all come to light within a month."

''700 MILLION LIRA ALLEGATION''

"They gave exactly 700 million liras from the party to a company. I will ask Mr. Özgür why you gave this money. I am talking about people who burned down their accounting office because they could not explain the source of their wealth. Why would a company's office burn down? To hide the source of dirty money."

"I HAD SAID I WOULD ACCEPT THE DUTY IF A NULL AND VOID RULING WAS ISSUED"

Stating that Ankara Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş, Mersin Metropolitan Mayor Vahap Seçer, and Engin Özkoç came to him before the court ruling, Kılıçdaroğlu recounted the dialogue between them as follows:

"Before the ruling was issued, they came and said, 'Do not accept the duty if a null and void ruling is issued.' I told them that if a call committee were to be formed, I would not take part in it, but if a legal decision were issued for me to return to duty with a null and void ruling, I would have to accept it. Because I stated that if I did not accept it, it would lead to a much more troublesome result and the party would be left in the hands of individuals. I kept my word."

"ÖZGÜR ÖZEL AVOIDS ACCEPTING PURIFICATION"

Stating that he personally called Özgür Özel on the day the null and void ruling was issued, Kılıçdaroğlu said, "I said let's find a way together, but he did not approach it. Mr. Özgür avoids accepting purification." Responding to his opponents who accused him of establishing a dialogue with President Erdoğan, Kılıçdaroğlu said, "It was he (Özgür Özel) who tried to establish a dialogue with Erdoğan through Bülent Arınç. Didn't I come out and say that we need struggle, not negotiation? Why would I fall under Erdoğan's control?"

Kılıçdaroğlu added that the convention process would not take too long and that he would soon explain all the documents one by one, ensuring that the names he claims are involved in dirty relationships are expelled from the party.
