Former CHP leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu shared a new video on his social media account, asking questions that summarize the country's economic situation. Kılıçdaroğlu also criticized the statements made by Treasury and Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek and attacked him with harsh words.

Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who recently ran for the chairmanship of the SHP, which was re-established after 14 years, shared a video on his social media account and directed questions to the citizens.

Kılıçdaroğlu also used the video to lash out at Treasury and Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek with harsh words, reminding him that he is closely following his work.

Kılıçdaroğlu included the following statements in the video he shared on his social media account:

My dear citizens, I am addressing you today; I am addressing the retirees of this country who are forced to live below the hunger threshold, the farmers whose crops do not pay off, the workers and civil servants who cannot make ends meet, the parents who struggle to educate their children, the 11 million tenant families who cannot pay their rent, and the young people who have lost their hope.

I want to ask you some questions that I want you to answer, and I want to explain how they bankrupted this country's economy by stealing from you. I want to ask each of you a few questions that you have forgotten and that you have been made to forget.

1- What does it mean to live in a way worthy of human dignity?

2- I want to ask the factory workers working for minimum wage in every city of our country: when was the last time you took your spouse and child out to eat? You cannot eat out because you have no money; I know you. Many of you do not eat the fruit served in the cafeteria and take it home to your child. You work overtime and return home exhausted. I know fathers who cannot see their child's face.

You have become cheap labor, loaded onto shuttles and transported to factories...

3- Our farmers, our villagers, I want to ask you too; we are all patriots, right? How many of you have been able to take your family and go on a one-week vacation in Bodrum, Marmaris, Ayvalık, or another holiday region? Why are the holiday resorts for the British, the Russians, and the French?

4- Dear parents, how many times a month can you go to the cinema or theater with your child and spend quality time with them? Can you buy the nutrients to feed them sufficiently? My request to you is to think about these questions well.

Now let's come to our main topic... Look at what the so-called economy minister, who was accused of theft just a few years ago by his master, the co-chair of the Greater Middle East Project (BOP), says about those who rob you and how they rob you.

He says, sir, the EYT (Retirement at Age) law was enacted because of the opposition of the time and became a burden on the economy, its annual cost to the economy is 724 billion liras; what else does he say? He says the minimum wage is quite high and sufficient; what else does he say? He says there is no raise for the retiree's base salary and there is no need for it.

First of all, I would like to remind this minister: we were the ones who secured many rights that this nation has earned, starting with the EYT, permanent staff status for subcontracted workers, the 3600 additional indicator for police officers, and two holiday bonuses for retirees; he forgot to count those.

If you and your master, the co-chair of the BOP, had even an ounce of love for this nation, you would not view retirees as a burden. I have said it before regarding the 724 billion lira; convert the projects you handed over to dollar-euro barons through the 'build-operate-transfer' theft system into Turkish Lira and bring them to this nation.

Cancel the public tenders you gave to the 'gang of five' at five times their cost and bring them into the treasury. Collect the tax debts you forgave for your cronies, tender-winners, and gang members; borrow not from loan sharks in London at 12 percent annually, but from international legal financial institutions at 1-2 percent annually—of course, if they give credit in a state where justice has been destroyed...

Take that money and transfer it to the producers, not the crony gangs, and see how the retiree's money appears.

In the name of 'saving,' keep your hands off the kettle where the teacher boils tea, the shuttle of the civil servant and worker, and the earned retirement rights; don't even think about canceling the EYT law. If you are going to save, start saving from the expenses of your master in the palace. Know that I will deal with your economic policies even more!

Do not lose hope; there is a struggle. We will talk and we will reach an understanding...

As I come to the end of my speech, if you don't misunderstand, I want to express a little grievance to you. As Nazım said, 'My tongue doesn't want to say it, but most of the fault is yours, my dear brother.'

They said Kılıçdaroğlu is an agent of foreign states, you believed it; they said he bankrupted the SSK, you believed that lie too; they made vile fake videos, you believed that too. But someone who is an agent would have gains, right? If not for himself, for his children. Think about what I have other than the gains and experience I have accumulated for 75 years and the love for my nation that I have never lacked in my heart.
