Killer's mother also detained: 'He molested my mother, so I killed him'
A new development has occurred in the murder of 39-year-old Mustafa Bayraktar, whose body was found with his hands tied behind his back in a burning workplace in Istanbul. It has emerged that the murder suspect Batın D.'s mother, Hasret D., and one other person have been detained as part of the investigation. In his statement, suspect Batın D. claimed that the victim had molested his mother and that he committed the murder for this reason. Following the investigation, 3 people were sent to the courthouse.

A new development has occurred regarding the murder of Mustafa Bayraktar, who was found to have been tied by his hands behind his back and killed with a knife.
KILLER SUSPECT DETAINED FIRST
Following the incident, teams from the Public Security Branch Office, Murder Bureau launched an investigation.
During the investigation, 22-year-old Batın D., who was determined to be the operator of the workplace where Bayraktar's body was found, was detained.
In the statement taken from the detained Batın D., he claimed that Mustafa Bayraktar, who came to the workplace, had molested his mother and that he committed the murder for this reason.

MOTHER ALSO DETAINED
The murder suspect explained that after stabbing Bayraktar, he put the body in a barrel and set the workplace on fire.
Following the statement, police teams also detained the mother, Hasret D., who was allegedly molested. In the security camera footage analysis regarding the incident, it was determined that Mustafa Bayraktar arrived at the workplace in a vehicle. The investigation revealed that the vehicle used by Bayraktar belonged to a person named Emircan K. Emircan K. was also detained. Following the investigation, 3 people were referred to the courthouse.
