Kıvanç and Beril Talu couple also defrauded their hairdresser
It has emerged that social media phenomenon Kıvanç Talu and his wife Beril Talu, who are alleged to have defrauded their close circle of 150 million liras, also defrauded their hairdresser of 7 thousand dollars. The file has been sent to the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office with a decision of lack of jurisdiction.

Kıvanç Talu and his wife Beril Talu, known for their social media channel "Var Böyle Tipler", were arrested on January 5, 2024, on allegations of defrauding their close circle of approximately 150 million liras.
Ali K., who owns a hair salon in Nişantaşı, also filed a complaint against the couple.
Stating that he met the Talu couple at his workplace in Nişantaşı, Ali K. said that while he was a guest at his nephew's house on October 24, 2022, Kıvanç Talu sent him a message on a social media platform and made an offer by saying, 'There is a project.'
It was alleged that Kıvanç Talu wanted to open a shop on Bağdat Avenue and offered the hairdresser Ali K. to work together.
GAVE 7 THOUSAND DOLLARS IN CASH
Ali K. claimed that he was deceived under the pretext of a hair salon and gave 7 thousand dollars (224 thousand Turkish liras) in cash to the Talu couple on October 31, 2023. A new investigation was opened following the complaint by the complainant Ali K. against Kıvanç Talu and his wife Beril Talu, who allegedly defrauded him with the promise of making him a partner in a hair salon.
The Istanbul Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor's Office sent the file to the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office with a decision of lack of jurisdiction, based on the location where the complaint was filed.
