Kocaeli Provincial Police Chief Faruk Karaduman made assessments regarding the incident that occurred yesterday at a Starbucks branch in the Körfez district of Kocaeli.

Karaduman stated that they will take action against individuals who disturb the public in Starbucks and similar venues under the guise of Israel protests.

BOUNDARIES CROSSED

Emphasizing that there is a distinction between protest and violence or actions that disturb the public, Karaduman said, "Instructions have been received; we are taking action against those who disturb the public peace in the latest incident. There is a situation where boundaries have been crossed."

THE DOSAGE IS INCREASING

Noting past actions that took place without disturbing the public, Karaduman said, "We did not take any action regarding those. However, the dosage of these events has been increasing in recent days. In line with the instructions we have received, we would like to state that action will be taken regarding such incidents."
