One of the most discussed topics among candidates after the exam was the lack of candy provided this year. Some civil servant candidates shared their grievances regarding the lack of candy on social media.

The 2024 Public Personnel Selection Examination (2024-KPSS) associate degree session, conducted by the Assessment, Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM), has concluded. For the exam, which was administered in 81 provinces and Nicosia, 3 thousand 273 buildings and 60 thousand 574 classrooms were used.
In the exam, which started at 10:15, candidates were given 130 minutes to answer the general ability-general culture tests consisting of 120 questions.
1 million 205 thousand 899 candidates applied for the exam. 164 thousand 53 personnel took part in the exam, in which 2 thousand 535 disabled candidates participated. While 13 thousand 566 police officers were on duty in the field to ensure exam security, a detail mentioned by the candidates after the exam quickly became a trending topic.
While candy was provided in previous exams along with pencils, erasers, and sharpeners, no candy was given to candidates in this exam. Candidates who took the exam expressed their grievances on their social media accounts and addressed the authorities with the question, "Why didn't you provide candy?"
