Kütahya Governor Işın speaks on the indefinite closure of 10 nightclubs
Kütahya Governor Musa Işın, regarding the indefinite closure of 10 nightclubs in the city, stated, "I used my authority to close them. This swamp, which was opened by the state, had to be drained."

Meeting with members of the press at the Municipal Social Facilities on the occasion of Working Journalists Day, Governor Işın made significant statements.
Regarding the indefinite closure of 10 nightclubs in the city due to rising public order and narcotics incidents, Governor Işın said, "You might say, 'May God bless you a thousand times, where have you been until now?' The figures we have given you and written down are official numbers. But there are also things that are not recorded and that we cannot share. That place is a complete swamp.
There is murder, extortion, drugs, and human trafficking. There is every kind of crime, disgrace, and scandal. There is arms smuggling and gunfire. That place is a complete swamp. Now, while such a swamp exists there, we are deceiving ourselves by saying we will fight against drugs.
"THE SWAMP OPENED BY THE STATE HAD TO BE DRAINED"
Friends, a swamp has been opened here. Why don't we get to the root of the matter? Close this place first, then fight against drugs. As long as I am governor here, I will continue my fight against them. Because this place is a document of shame for you, for Kütahya, and for all of us," he said.
Stating, "I used my authority to close them. This swamp, which was opened by the state, had to be drained," Governor Işın expressed that while there might be difficulties in rehabilitating the people in these dens, efforts to reintegrate them into society would continue.
In Kütahya, 10 nightclubs had been closed for an indefinite period a short while ago in accordance with a decision taken by the Governor's Office.
