CHP Group Deputy Chairman Ali Mahir Başarır shared with the public that a large piece of land at the Atatürk Forest Farm has been transferred to Medipol University.

Başarır stated that a total of 403 thousand square meters of forest land was given to the university owned by former Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca.

In his statement, Başarır used the following expressions:

"The Atatürk Forest Farm is the greenest place in Ankara, the place with the most forest. To whom has 403 thousand square meters of forest land from the Atatürk Forest Farm been given by our gentleman? To former Health Minister Fahrettin Koca's university. Are you not ashamed at all, do you feel no embarrassment?"

Reacting to the allocation in question, Başarır pointed out that forest areas must be protected and said the following:

"On one hand, we are struggling with forest fires that you cannot extinguish and for which you cannot allocate a budget, and on the other hand, we are struggling with your plundering of forests. You give the Atatürk Forest Farm to the former minister's school, and then you come out and blame the opposition and the municipalities. This system has collapsed."
