Landslide occurs in Büyükçekmece, Istanbul

A landslide occurred at the Mimar Sinan Coast in Büyükçekmece.

Fire department teams have begun search and rescue operations due to the possibility of people being trapped under the debris.

The incident took place at the Mimar Sinan Coast in Büyükçekmece. According to the information obtained, a collapse occurred in the soil area located between the coast and the buildings.

The sliding soil partially blocked the coastal road. Citizens who were on the coast at the time experienced panic.

Upon notification, police, medical, and numerous fire department teams were dispatched to the scene.

Rescue teams were deployed due to the possibility of people being trapped under the debris. The teams' work at the scene is ongoing.
