Lawyer Sevinç Horoz explains to 12punto: Dilan Polat has been released from prison
A release order was issued around noon for Dilan Polat, who had been detained on November 5 on charges of money laundering. Dilan Polat has left Marmara Prison. Polat was met by her family and friends upon her release.

It has been decided that Dilan Polat, who was in prison on charges of money laundering, will be released to be tried without arrest.
The higher court, evaluating the petition filed by lawyer Sevinç Horoz objecting to the latest monthly detention review, decided that Dilan Polat should be tried without arrest.
Her lawyer, Sevinç Horoz, stated in her explanation to 12punto, "We submitted our petition 10 days ago. The decision came out today."

WHAT HAPPENED?
In operations conducted in Istanbul and 5 other provinces on November 1, 2023, and subsequently, 24 suspects, including Dilan Polat and her husband Engin Polat, were detained.
A preliminary investigation report was prepared by the Financial Crimes Investigation Board (MASAK) regarding the suspects, including the Polat couple, whose digital materials and ledgers were seized during previous searches of their companies. The report determined that 200 million lira had entered the family members' companies from 3 companies in liquidation through the method of issuing fake invoices for alleged trade.
