Vera, the daughter of Gezi Park trial prisoner and urban planner Tayfun Kahraman, who has been in prison for nearly two years, has sent a letter to her father.

In the letter shared on her mother Meriç Demir Kahraman's social media account, Vera tells her father in prison that she has learned to ride a bike and asks him what flavor of ice cream he likes.

Saying that she misses her father very much, Vera called on Tayfun Kahraman to come home.

The lines little Vera sent to her father are as follows:

"My dear Daddy,

I love you very much and I miss you so much. Daddy, when you come home, let's have dinner together—you, me, and Mommy. Then you can read me a book. I can write my name and a few other things, but I haven't learned how to read yet. Then, can the three of us go on vacation together, okay Daddy? Do you know, I also learned how to ride a bike. We can ride bikes together and get ice cream. I like strawberry ice cream, Daddy; what flavor do you like? My dear Daddy, I love you so much, please come home now, Daddy. Vera"
