Lifeless body of Hacettepe student found in dormitory

It is alleged that a student studying at Hacettepe Faculty of Medicine in Ankara died by suicide towards the evening hours today.

According to a report by Sol Portal, a young student at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in Ankara was found dead in their dormitory room today. It is alleged that the student died by suicide. 

IT IS ALLEGED THAT THE STUDENT DIED BY SUICIDE BY INGESTING MEDICATION

It is stated that the family of the student, identified as I.E., who could not be reached for some time, called the dormitory, and that dormitory staff encountered the student's lifeless body upon entering the room. While a prosecutor arrived at the scene, it is alleged that the student died by suicide by ingesting medication. While no official statement has been made yet regarding the cause of the student's death, it is stated that the exact cause of death will be revealed as a result of the investigations.

UNIVERSITY SOLIDARITY NETWORK ISSUES CALL

It is stated that I.E., who was identified as a Hacettepe Faculty of Medicine student, was staying at the Hacettepe Student Dormitory, known as the Sıhhiye Student Houses. 

Following the news of the incident, the Hacettepe University Solidarity Network called on students to gather in front of the Sıhhiye Campus Dormitories at 22:30, saying, "We do not want to lose another friend."
